Hiatus

man it has been so long since i’ve blogged. i gotta admit, i started to think it was pointless and thats probably why ive stopped.  but enough with that, in the great words of rafiki the baboon, its in the past it doesn’t matter.

Well its the start of a new year, and unles your Rip Van Winkle you probably already knew that but i had to say it.  During this mornings service dan mentioned bloggin, Shocker, and i figured in the spirit of resolutions id try to make an effort to do so.  Lets bore you with the happenings of my life over the past few weeks.  I’ve managed to stay broke so that hasn’t changed.  Im still workin red hot and blue, great place, managed to make a few friends outta the mix so thats a plus as well. lemme just say Tarkio Bedlam is legit.  On the down side, the economy’s slapin the Restaurant industry in the face with a sock full of nickles.  You can totally tell that people don’t have money left over, after the failing US economy sucks them dry, to spend on food.  I can’t imagine how people that depened on that as a soul source of income are getting by.  Im just glad i’ve got two great paying jobs.

Just recently i traveled home for Christmas/ New Years oh but before that i got an Iphone, greatest invention since the atomic bomb.  Anyway bak to the trip home.  As i left sunny dallas’s upper 60’s and sunny rays, I couldnt wait to see my family.  The clouds parted and as the plane decended into missouri air, the ground became white and the temperature plummeted to the lower 30’s.  My jaw droped a little when my little sister greated me at the terminal and she had grown just shy of my mothers hight.  She’s only 9 years old. crazy i know.  I imediatly drove to my grandparents, a 3 hour drive. we got there and i was greated by my grandparents and my uncle.  I enjoyed my first home cooked meal in three months.  it was great.  On the way home i couldn’t wait to see old friends and enjoy the 2 things there are to do in that town.  My first visit was with doug, clasic.  loved it.  it wasnt untill a few days later that i realized who the friends are that change and the ones that don’t.  I was slightly disapointed but what can u expect when your gone for a year.  But then you see someone move back,  and its almost like they havent ever been gone. i mean, its rediculous i didn’t realize this friendship being tossed by the way side but after consideration i realized it wasnt even a real friendship. Oh well, i always figured the later of the three were closer than i and my supsions were confirmed.  My revelation continued when  i showed up at a new years party being thrown by said “friend” and the same people we hung out with in high school had the same jobs and were the same level of immature as they were 2 years ago.  Whatever, cant wait to see those people at my 10 year highschool reunion.

“U still workin at Heroes ha ha?”

“yea”

“oh sorry, i didn’t mean to laugh”

waste of my time.  but i do apreciate the people that didn’t change. Andrea Robinson still has an amazing voice. loved hearing her sing Revelation Song.  Im so glad FBC is back on its feet.  I love that church.  I think i’ll be returning there the rest of my life.  Im glad to see my brothers new youth pastor is an awesome guy.  I’m sure they’re gonna love the rest of their highschool youth group career with him at the helm.  man so much i wanna write but im runnin outta energy.  so lets sum this up. Miss my family, aunt, grandma, and grandparents, friends, well sum of them, mainly doug, andrea and a few other.  The trip was good but im in no hurry to return for anything un family related.

well im back in dallas, my home for now.  other than my auntique of a car, things are lookin up. Im so sick of that dinosaur, if anyone reads this and wants an 84 toyota celica gts that needs some fixin up, let me know.  ill give it to you!! but im hopefully going to be purching a used truck somewhere in the near future just gotta find one first ha ha.  Also im super excited to get a roomate.  I cant wait.  classes are starting, my relationship is in excelent condition and im loving life all around.

So thats my life in a nut shell over the past few months.  thanks for reading if u do.  ill try to keep this thing updated, just bear with me ima busy guy ha ha.
